Whether recording a new track to commemorate an anniversary, birthday, Christmas, funeral or just for fun, the artist gift experience is ideal for all ages and skill levels. 

The gift recipient/s can choose to record a song they have composed or sing along to a Karaoke or backing track of their choice. From Hip Hop, Classical to Pop, allow yourself, or someone special to be a star for the day!

How the Recording Experience Works

The Voucher Purchaser:
You buy a Recording Studio Gift Voucher from eBay.
Once purchased, please send a message to us saying who the voucher is for and who the voucher is from.

The Gift Receiver: 
Call 'Jon Brooks Recording Studio' and quote the person's name who purchased the voucher to arrange a date and time for your recording studio session.
Rehearse the song prior to the recording session.
Upon arrival at the recording studio, our experienced and qualified music producer will give a tour of the studio explaining how the recording process works. After which, there will be a chance to warm up vocals and run through the song.
We will get to record a few live vocal takes, then the studio engineer will select the best takes of your vocals and edit them together into a perfect vocal. If any notes are out of tune, they can be corrected digitally. EQ, compression and other FX will also be added to the vocal. Then finally, a mix and master of the song. Generally, it takes around one to two hours to complete one song recording.
At the end of the recording, the song/s will be uploaded or emailed to you as high quality .wav files and mp3s.
